Staff Software Engineer - Platform - Bluecore
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform Data squad, building scalable APIs focused on analyzing website data for our high-traffic e-commerce partner websites. Bluecore receives over 100 million events per day on services built with Go and gRPC running on Kubernetes and the Google Cloud Platform, leveraging BigQuery, Datastore, and BigTable for storage.
It's not enough to develop systems that handle our ever-increasing scale, it's also essential that we do so cost-effectively with high-performance code and resource utilization of our GCP infrastructure. Reliability is another important piece to the puzzle, and we adopt Site-Reliability Engineering principles for automating deployments and observability at scale. You’ll be an influential leader, actively coding while simultaneously helping your team design and implement technical solutions.
