Our suite of solutions include HIPAA-compliant resources, clinical programs, data and analytics tools, leadership and development workshops and more. Because of this new growth, the number of potentially relevant regulations is climbing and the nature of our compliance landscape is becoming more complex. Experience with these legal issues is crucial for candidates looking to help grow the legal team into the future.
We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or NYC areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.
What You’ll Do
We are looking for an exceptional attorney who is passionate about regulatory and compliance counseling and committed to advancing Calm’s mission of making the world a healthier and happier place. As Regulatory Compliance Counsel, you will dive into meaningful and mission-critical projects to ensure organizational compliance with domestic and international legal frameworks. You will ensure that Calm practices privacy-by-design and that its data governance framework is robust. You will advise on applicable healthcare regulations and ensure that Calm’s products align with global consumer protection rules. This role will report to the Sr. Product and Regulatory Counsel and will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization, including members of the product, engineering, security, people, and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements
The anticipated salary range for this position is $166,700 - $233,400. The base salary range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
