Full Stack Hacker - Checkr
Checkr is changing the way on-demand companies run background checks on contractors. We fully automated what used to be a complex HR process with an API. The company started in April 2014 and was part of the Ycombinator S14 class. After Ycombinator, Checkr raised a $9M series A from Accel Partners, Khosla Ventures, Google Ventures and other top tier VCs.
We are a small (7) but efficient team looking for smart engineers to join us and build the future of online trust. We are working on very cool stuff like micro-services, API design, NLP, OCR and more. Checkr is a collection of small services built on ruby, JS and a variety of databases and queues. We are excited to welcome new languages and technologies to our stack.
Checkr was founded by engineers for engineers. We want to create the best work environment for developers to build, learn and simply be happy.
