What is an Insurance Policy Forms Manager 

Clearcover is looking for an experienced insurance professional with proven leadership and problem solving skills to join it’s fast growing team.  The Insurance Policy Forms Manager supports the Insurance Product function by having the accountability to lead the team supporting multi-state launches, rate/rule/form changes, data calls, and a variety of ad-hoc initiatives.

What will you do?

• Hold team accountability for the development, implementation and communications for all policy form related projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Policy Forms Analysts.
• Support the creation of rate/rule/forms filings to support company product release plans.
• Helping to build templates and processes to gain efficiencies in this space
• Supporting monthly reporting functions
• Maintaining Insurance Product documentation
• Primary resource to collaborate with Legal and Compliance, Claims, Technical Product, Product Development, Growth and Underwriting leadership on cross functional projects and initiatives

What will you need as an Insurance Policy Forms Manager?

• Associates degree or higher preferred
• 7+ years of proven work experience with policy form research, development and implementation.
• Expert knowledge of insurance data and metrics.
• Personal Lines product knowledge preferred.
• Proven knowledge and use of the SERFF filing system.
• Expert skill proficiency in Excel: Intermediate, Google: Intermediate
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and to challenge the status quo
• Strong decision making and relationship building skills
• Alignment with Clearcover core values
• Must be able to lead through influence, rather than authority only. Also must be a team player and able to operate as a “player-coach.”
• Solid organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
