About the Role:

The People Partner will enable business success, amplify our culture and increase organizational efficiency through Cohesity’s People Strategy partnership across multiple business functions in our Americas region.

Responsibilities:

Ability to build strategic partnerships with leaders and operate as a trusted advisor

Ability to lead organizational change efforts

Ability to drive organizational design and build talent plans to identify and complete current and future talent needs.

Leading through culture and values through language, actions, and the complete employee experience.

Advising on role structures, organization development, and communication requirements to align to business needs.

Proactive with people managers and leaders who are using their teams to achieve our revenue and profitability goals.

Becoming a “business first, HR second” HR professional - using HR skills, programs and initiatives to engage with the business.

Working with peer People and Places HR leaders to provide a “global, then local” approach to organization opportunities and initiatives.

Complete and deliver on all HR programs such as performance assessments, promotions, succession planning, and employee engagement plans with Excellence and global consistency.

Being an advocate, coach and mentor for proactive performance management.

Demonstrating data and metrics to guide decision-making.

Partnering with our People & Places centers of excellence (Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics).

Day-to-day interaction with HR Technology platform tools and applications (Workday, G Suite, Tableau, etc.).

Participating in company-wide talent initiatives, collaborating for global success for Cohesity.

What You Bring to the Team

6-8+ years of relevant HR Business Partner experience.

Experienced supporting Americas region with international partnership a plus

High tolerance for ambiguity and change

Prior experience with a technology company required; cloud, BI/analytics, or platform as a service setting preferred.

Astute in collaboration with partners, demonstrating business and HR knowledge with people managers to define solution options for the business.

Seeks, collects and synthesizes information from a variety of collaborators and data sources in an objective, unbiased manner to raise awareness and/or inspire change in the business.

Engages internal networks and navigates within and across the organization to provide perspective and insights on talent and business needs, internal politics, building and maintaining relationships.

Results driven; drive accountability and ownership of HR related responsibilities.

A “business first” mentality of understanding Cohesity’s portfolio of products and services, and using that knowledge to apply HR and People solutions and outcomes.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

Growing competence in the various HR functional areas: employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, data and analytics, etc.

Proficient in employee engagement and performance management standard processes and trends.

***This is a hybrid role that requires to be onsite 2 times a week with a flexible schedule***

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
