Apache Spark™ is a multi-language engine for data engineering, data science, and machine learning that lies at the core of our initiatives. We're seeking a dedicated Engineering Team Lead to drive Spark Platform development, encompassing both open-source and Databricks-specific components. The Spark Platform team develops and maintains the Spark APIs layer of the Data intelligence Platform, ensuring best-in-class performance, usability, and robust data security for our customers. Your primary mission will be to solidify the position of Apache Spark™ as the go-to data processing framework and facilitate seamless integration and comprehensive optimization across the Data Intelligence platform, ensuring a streamlined, efficient, and secure user experience.

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
