Senior Software Engineer I - GOAT
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer I for our Los Angeles, CA office to be responsible for developing the Company’s cloud-based infrastructure and services that support the Company’s engineering teams to scale their websites and applications that serve millions of users worldwide.
In this role, you will:
Primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:
· Improve Company’s internal PaaS to allow teams to build, deploy, and operate applications.
· Design core infrastructure and platform components.
· Scale for capacity and traffic spikes.
· Implement defense features against security threats, bots, and malicious actors.
· Enhance chat-based deployment, build and orchestration systems.
· Be on call for rare infrastructure-level issues that have not been automated.
· Automate infrastructure to decrease pager escalations.
You have:
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other closely related technical field of study. Plus 5 years (60 months) of work experience in the job offered or other closely related positions.
· In lieu of the primary requirements, employer is willing to accept 7 years (72 months) of work experience in the job offered or other closely related positions.
· Must pass company’s standard technical test. Experiences may be concurrent. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and/or training to satisfy the minimum requirements for the position.
