Job Summary

You will be part of the Cloud engineering team responsible for designing and architecture of systems and cloud resources, automation, observability, performance, availability, scalability and security of the SAAS Fintec Platform built on AWS, Azure and GCP.

SRE Architect will be responsible for Design and Architect systesms & automation for large, highly available SAAS platform on Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP and Azure) using various Cloud Native Technologies. Always ensure the performance, availability, and security of the HighRadius SAAS Platform. He / She should have demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing innovative automation solutions and tools for multi cloud and private cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong understanding of Infrastructure and run book automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product/platform support and engineering teams & security teams to find opportunities on build self-healing and self-service capabilities for operations.
• Serve as primary technical lead for designing and implementing systems & Automation for Cloud services. Building strong cross-functional leadership skills and working together with the operations and engineering teams to make sure that systems are scalable and secure.
• Predominantly designing, architecting and coding the re-usable modules for IT process automation.
• Help the Service Reliability team to create, maintain and automate RunBooks for scaled automation in an agile manner.
• Track, Manage and Improve on Mean Time Between Failures and Mean Time to Repair.
• Implement Cloud Infrastructure automation through Ansible , terraform, code deployments, software installation, and configuration updates
• Manage multi tenant - multi cloud environment's infrastructure refreshes, consolidating and modernizing technology footprints, cloud integration and migration, and network traffic/capacity optimization
  Proactive planning and drive engineers for system and sofrware upgrades such as Nutanix, Vault, Observability tools like Prometheus etc.
• Front-end disaster recovery testing and readiness certification process across cloud environments.
• Actively involve in discussions with Security Engineering, Infosec and Compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• 10 - 14 years of Cloud SRE experience, currently holding the position of Cloud Architect for the last 4+ years at least preferably on two of three public cloud platforms - AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Automation-first mindset and hands-on in primary knowledge domain. Prior experience of developing large scale automations is a must for this role.
• Experience with architecting and delivering reliable, secure, cost-optimized, performance-efficient, and operationally excellent solutions on-the cloud.
• Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools.
• Must have strong expertise in operating Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell.
• Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
• Solid understanding of Infra Automation, Infra As a Code, Configuration Management, Modern Deployment methods. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Inspec , RunDeck, Argo CD in Cloud Production and Engineering Environments.
• Deep Understanding of Cloud native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions, APIs, and Micro services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate core concepts (CI/CD, Agile & Automation) with the stakeholders.
• Working experience on observability and monitoring tools such as LightStep, Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience with Cloud Security and Compliance is an added advantage
• A strong team player. Ability to collaborate within team, other colleagues, 3rd party vendors and customers
• Any public platform's Cloud Architect certification (mandatory), TOGAF certified (desirable)
• Good communication skills. Experience in handling Internal and External stakeholders across the globe
• Adaptable to new technologies, eager to learn new tools and ways of solving problems
