BDR Team Leader - Illumio

We’re looking for a candidate who wants to be a key player in designing our customer growth strategy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and lead our Business Development Representatives team and design our growth hacking strategy for prospect acquisition and development. Illumio’s BDR team is responsible for cold-sourcing prospects, and developing Marketing Sourced Leads into Sales Qualified Leads.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and lead social selling strategies (LinkedIn, Blogs, Forums) to source and follow-up with leads.
• Lead the staffing, performance and development of the BDR team to daily | weekly | quarterly goals.
• Lead the development of outreach content (emails, phone trees) based on marketing provided messaging.
• Partner with territory sales leaders and partners to develop in-territory targeted account lists and call strategies to develop SQLs in territory.
• Lead the team collaboration with marketing program managers to develop campaign follow-up strategies and content to convert marketing sourced leads into SQLs.
• Prepare and monitor action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Partner with Marketing Operations to define KPIs and dashboards for real-time tracking and performance improvement.
• Conduct regular coaching and counseling with BDR’s to build motivation and selling skills.
• Maintain contact with Account Managers to track in territory SQL and Pipeline performance.

Desired Skills & Experience

• MBA who is interested in rapidly building their marketing or sales career highly desired
• Or
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3-8 years business experience leading growth hacking activities and teams, and insides sales/sales development management.
• Demonstrable ability to design and implement social selling strategies, and develop outreach content based on marketing messaging (emails, phone trees).
• Experience selling and/or marketing enterprise, B2B solutions software.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements (market specific training provided).
• Proven leadership and ability to drive demand generation and/or sales development teams.
