Product Marketing Manager - Illumio

Responsible for the internal and external communication of our product value propositions. Team will craft relevant, credible and differentiated positioning and messaging for our products and chart the “customer journey”/decision criteria to partner demand generation and communications teams

Responsibilities:
• Storytelling - Develop product positioning, value preposition and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales materials/tools that support the selling process of our products
• Product launches – plan the go-to-market launch strategy for new products and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Market intelligence – know what our customers (existing and prospective) needs are; be knowledgeable on our competition and how to differentiate our offerings
• Leadership – Lead a team of product marketers and provide adequate supervision and mentorship
• Cross-Departmental collaboration – All of the above will be accomplished by having a constant communication flow with internal groups, including most crucially Corporate and Revenue Marketing, Product Management, and CTO.
• Competitive analysis and positioning
• Partner in demand generation activities
• Key product assets: written, video. Support social media campaigns with Corporate marketing team

Qualifications:
• 5- 15+ years of product marketing experience in ad-tech / technology companies.
• Track record of success and increasing respsonsibilities
• Strong right brain, left brain balance — analytical + creative
• Demonstrated success of leading products marketing, launching products and scaling internal teams
• Excellent written communication skills
• Pro-active and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions
• Work well independently, but also good within a group
• Strong project and time management skills
• Strong acumen about new technologies
