Senior Digital Marketing Manager - Illumio

This role develops Illumio’s digital marketing strategy to generate awareness and source prospects online. The successful candidate will deliver a high volume of targeted traffic to Illumio’s digital properties as well as qualified leads for Illumio’s inside sales team to convert into new customers from owned/paid/earned digital channels. This role will be responsible for the overall return on investment of digital lead-generation activities.

Must be able to think creatively and work collaboratively to solve business challenges in a rapidly changing environment with imperfect and incomplete information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Segment and prioritize the Illumio B2B audience. Through rigorous and ongoing testing and performance monitoring, identify the optimum digital channels for Illumio’s content marketing and demand-generation programs.
• Develop targeted digital channel strategies to highest-priority segments; drive the development and rollout timeline.
• Create a strategic SEO roadmap, identifying key internal stakeholders and action items to occur throughout the year to ensure Illumio digital properties reflect best practices.
• Partner with Illumio content marketing and creative personnel to develop digital marketing programs to “feed” target digital channels (digital advertising, webinars, email, content syndication, microsites, etc.).
• Work closely with marketing operations to integrate digital program development into the marketing team’s sprint schedule, and determine KPIs and your reporting needs.
• Provide regular feedback to marketing personnel who develop programs about what assets are performing, what new content is needed, and what content should be removed from circulation.
• Analyze demand-generation results across KPIs to continually refine strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of proven experience leading SEO efforts, online media purchasing (sponsorships, Adwords, etc.), and building high-ROI digital integrated programs targeting business customers
• Strong ability to work collaboratively, especially with the team members you will rely on for the program content
• Expert knowledge of marketing-automation capabilities (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot, etc.)
• A curiosity about identifying what motivates consumers and drives them to action
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; experience with A/B and multivariate experiments and analyzing programs on ROI or other KPIs
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
