Illumio is hiring a team of marketers who want to create define-your-portfolio work and just need the environment to build it.
As our Sr. Communications Manager, you will formulate and manage key influencer and content marketing programs (public relations management, media and blogger outreach, customer references, executive speaking series, internal communications, podcast and video programming, etc.).
You will have the opportunity to establish and grow Illumio’s influencer programs to build a community of Illumio advocates.
What You Will Be Doing
• Managing the day-to-day activities of our public relations agencies (press outreach tracking, rapid response requests, performance reporting, etc.)
• Expanding our influencer “universe” (journalists, bloggers, customers, industry leaders, etc.) by developing and executing creative cross-functional programs (byline placement, native advertising, social media, etc.) with key members of the marketing team to drive influencer engagement and coverage
• Managing the execution of quarterly influencer events
• Managing our customer reference program, including interacting with Illumio sales managers and customers to build long-term reference relationships, developing assets, and managing production vendors
• Developing and managing our internal communications program
• Managing the production timeline, VIP guest sourcing, and identification of distribution channels for our podcast program (Tailgating Security, customer references, technical evangelist video series, etc.)
What You Need for This Position
• The ability to write content and develop communications programs—and a portfolio that shows it
• Experience contributing to social media programs and managing the development of multimedia assets (videos, podcasts, etc.)
• Leadership skills to define and manage goals
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Vendor management experience (public relations agencies, production professionals, etc.)
• Ability to do fast, iterative work in an agile marketing organization
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn
