Print Project Manager - IXL

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, is seeking a skilled project manager to manage our growing print library of K–12 educational materials. #LI-KH1

As Print Project Manager, you’ll manage and maintain our library of print educational materials for IXL and Rosetta Stone. You'll establish a system for organizing, tracking, and updating print files, and you'll work closely with curriculum designers and graphic designers to implement changes to those files to support specific print runs or initiatives. Your exceptional organizational skills, technical abilities, and communication skills will help make personalized learning a reality for millions of students. #LI-HYBRID

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Create and maintain a file organization system for print-ready PDFs and InDesign files, ensuring that the library of files is easy to navigate and up to date 
• Establish a system for tracking file status and requirements, including the relationship between files that are based off each other (e.g., translated versions of PDFs)
• In collaboration with curriculum designers and our ecommerce manager, oversee the schedule and work required for reprinting existing titles
• In collaboration with curriculum designers and the content production team, coordinate reuploads of printable PDFs on the site when content changes
• Work with graphic designers to implement small updates to print files for reprint or reupload
• Review those changes for accuracy 
• Work with engineering on technical solutions to file maintenance
• Manage accessibility requirements for print materials

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5 years of project management or product management experience
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical skills
• Experience with print design or production is a plus
