Senior Sanctions Specialist, QC - Mercury

Mercury is building a complete finance stack for startups. We’re looking to hire a Sanctions Specialist to review Watch List suspect alerts and provide support to the broader Sanctions Program.

As a Senior Sanctions QC Specialist, you’ll be responsible for handling quality reviews for sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP) and adverse media (AM)/negative news (NN) alerts, account investigations. Delivering feedback to team members, improving processes and procedures, responding to general sanctions questions, escalating to the appropriate teams or individuals, when needed, and transaction reviews. You will report directly to the Sanctions Lead and will be supported by a highly functional Risk team.
