Lead Quality Assurance Engineer
6-9 yrs | Bangalore Office
Responsibilities
● Responsible for end-to-end Quality Assurance of one or more product lines, making quick and reliable software releases.
● Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, metrics reports and review of Test cases from the team members.
● Review test strategies and see that all kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance and load etc. are covered.
● Shares responsibility of delivering all Product goals with the Development team.
● Support triage, investigation and debugging of issues and defects.
● Includes setting-up and improving best practices & processes for testing & automation.
● Responsible for hiring and grooming QA team members. Mentor the juniors engineers and guide them on their projects and goals.
● Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders as needed in understanding, prioritization and resolution of product requirements and issues, and to deliver new capabilities and support existing capabilities on the product over multiple product
releases and feature areas.
● Support risk management and mitigation plans during a crisis.
● Manage QA Processes for Testing and Automation Team.
Requirement
● The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
● Individuals should have expertise in Manual Testing on Web, Mobile and API Testing with at least 6+ years’ experience.
● Proven experience of creating testing plans, defining test strategies and executing it with efficiency.
● Good Knowledge On Databases (Relational or NOSQL) and proficient in writing SQL query.
● Good Knowledge on tools used for API monitoring, testing and Documentation like POSTMAN, SWAGGER, Charles etc.
● Good understanding of Frontend and Backend Systems, their designs and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
● Knowledge of Automation Tools like Selenium/Appium/Rest Assured with any programming language like Java/Python.
● Knowledge on Jenkins, deployments and CI/CD process.
● Experience with Project Management tools like Atlassian’s JIRA, TFS.
● Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP APIs and services
● Experience on version control tool like GIT.
● Experience on working with Fintech domain.
