The Job

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, handling accounts receivable, and coordinating with customers to maintain efficient financial transactions.

Your Day-to-Day Role

Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on contract terms, usage, or other billing criteria.
Verify billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices.
Monitor billing cycles and proactively address any discrepancies or issues in the invoicing process.
Maintain professional and effective communication with customers regarding billing inquiries and disputes.
Collaborate to address billing-related concerns and inquiries.

Your Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
1-3 years of previous experience in accounts receivable or billing within a SaaS company is preferred.
Strong understanding of billing and accounts receivable principles
Previous experience in using accounting software and billing systems is desirable (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive mind related to process improvement.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our San Diego, CA office a minimum of 3 days a week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required..

The base salary hiring range for this position is $42,400 to $53,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be dependent upon various factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, scope of the role, and location.
