THE WORK:
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and detail-oriented Program Manager leader at Director level to join the Strategic Initiatives team.
In this role, you partner with functional leaders to identify, advance, and support cross-company strategic initiative programs that materially improve Ripple’s market position and operating effectiveness.
We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, a self-starter and passionate about taking action in order to get things done quickly and efficiently. You are organized, take ownership by proactively looking for areas to provide value, and never let little things drop. You excel at building relationships, establishing excellent communication channels, and clarifying milestones and end goals. The ideal candidate values collaboration, influencing cross functionally, and has a deep understanding of the process necessary to develop and execute at the leadership level.
The Strategic Initiatives Director (Program Management) is an individual contributor role reporting to our Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Be a trusted thought-partner and collaborator to the senior leadership / functional leaders
- Own program management of time-bound initiatives
- Facilitate efficient meetings to ensure information exchange and alignment across teams
- Manage cross-functional processes with leaders to ensure key decisions, major projects, and business outcomes are successful
- Own, escalate and swiftly break down impediments that prevent things from moving forward
- Drive and ensure regular, ongoing communication and coordination across functions
- Increase visibility by owning and maintaining resources (ex. project plans, knowledge bases, comms channels) to ensure clarity and consistency in information
- Identify critical path activities for programs and enable prioritization of initiatives
