The Inventory Planner is responsible for ensuring that assigned product categories are in a healthy in-stock position. The Planner is the expert of their department and is a true business owner who knows their forecast. He/she works with cross-functional partners to assort a commercially viable product line, building inventory plans that maintain healthy in-stock levels.
The Planner is relentlessly commercial and sensitized to the weekly trends risks and opportunities. They respond to future seasons with robust actions based on weekly intel to drive and exceed future demand. They always knows their numbers and business at a detailed level.
