We’re looking for a passionate, talented, and experienced designer to lead our internal tools design initiatives including design systems. Operational efficiency is essential to Sonder’s business model in this role you will take charge of designing the tools our internal team and service providers use to ensure a great stay, every time.
Sonder is able to operate a high quality service with a fraction of the workforce of traditional accommodation providers. That’s possible through the use of technology – the technology this designer will make a reality. We’re looking for someone that is versatile, adventurous, detail oriented, and loves to see projects through from conception to completion. You should have a strong sense of designing scalable systems and be an expert in design’s history and curious about the field’s future. You’ll work on everything from dashboards to design systems to mobile applications. The ideal candidate has experience working on internal tools and visualizing data to inspire action. Sonder is a fast and challenging environment and you will be expected to go above and beyond to create beautiful, meaningful design for our guests and the cities our teams live in.
