Product Engineer - Stripe
As a product engineer at Stripe, you'll create the software we ship to our users: the Stripe API, dashboard, documentation, Checkout, and libraries. You should expect to slide up and down the software stack, building the infrastructure to support the products you release.
You should be able to empathize both with users and the rest of your team. This means considering both how our users will use your software and how your peers will use your code.
You should have built and, more importantly, maintained widely-used products. You're willing to pick up the slack and do the unglamorous tasks.
You should have a knack for making tools powerful without compromising their ease of use. This applies to both for visual tools (like our dashboard) and programming tools (like our API).
