Director of Communications - Vise

The Director of Communications will be responsible for managing both internal and external communications for Vise. You will help develop the narrative of the business as well as helping to maintain a positive external view of the business. You’ll also build and maintain relationships with relevant industry writers and contacts, to take advantage of any opportunities for exposure of the business.  

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic communications plan
• Manage all incoming media inquiries
• Keep track of industry lists/awards and submit on behalf of Vise 
• Partner with existing communications advisors on strategy and media connectivity
• Draft press releases (product, partners, company milestones)
• Build and maintain relationships with writers and media contacts 
• Work with conference organizers to ensure involvement with Vise executives
• Drive corporate strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies
• Develop and drive internal communications strategies

Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in public relations; financial services industry experience and/or tech 
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record in integrated communications
• Experience collaborating with sales, partnership, compliance, and other senior executives
• Relationships with consumer and financial press
• Strong network of contacts, specifically at financial, tech and business media outlets with proven track record of media placement
• An understanding of how to leverage content strategies to drive awareness
• A passion for being a part of high-performing teams with a strong bias for action
